Richard who...? Admittedly, that's how it was for me in 2017, when Hublot started his collaboration with the French artist at Art Basel in Miami.

His sculptures, on the other hand, inspired me right from the start, as did the watches that emerged from his collaboration with Hublot. There are some of them now and so I take the opportunity to create an overview of the Hublot Orlinski editions here.

It all began in December 2017, when Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, announced the collaboration with Richard Orlinski. Hublot Loves Art is, after all, one of the Nyon brand's slogans. And the cooperation with artists such as Romero Britto, Mr. Brainwash, Carlos Cruz-Diez and Tristan Eaton clearly express this love. Typical of the watches that emerge from these collaborations is the freedom that Hublot allows the artist to design. After all, they are supposed to be works of art for the wrist, to which the handwriting of the respective artist should be added.

And so the Classic Fusion Chronograph Titanium, the first result of this cooperation with the reference 525.NX.0170.RX.ORL18, limited to 200 watches, is both a genuine Orlinski and a genuine Hublot.
